Cultivating Inventivity: Launching the Movement to Inspire the Next Generation

At the Cade, we believe inventors are essential to a thriving culture. Their extraordinary ability to solve the impossible fuels prosperity, builds optimism, and creates opportunity for generations to come.

But inventivity isn’t reserved for a select few—it belongs to all of us.

We believe every person has the potential to create, invent, and solve problems. That’s why everything we do is centered on sparking curiosity, unveiling courage, and fostering resilience in young minds. We call this cultivating Inventivity—a mindset that empowers people to think creatively, embrace challenges, and imagine new possibilities. When individuals adopt an Inventive Mindset, extraordinary things become possible.

Since 2010, the Cade Museum has helped ignite this mindset in hundreds of thousands of learners, families, and educators. Through hands-on experiences, inspiring stories of invention, and innovative education programs, we’ve seen firsthand how creativity and confidence grow when people are given the tools to explore and experiment. Our work proves that inventivity doesn’t belong to a few—it belongs to all of us.

Now, we’re taking the next bold step.

With the launch of the Inventivity Movement, we’re expanding our impact beyond Gainesville to share this transformative approach with communities across the nation. Over the coming years, we’ll bring Inventivity® programming, pop-up experiences, and collaborative learning spaces to neighborhoods everywhere—meeting people where they are and opening doors to discovery.

We invite you to join us on this incredible journey. Together, we can bring our mission to life, inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, and help build a future shaped by creativity, courage, and innovation.

Thank you for being part of the Inventivity Movement.
