Introducing Spark Hub: Bringing Inventivity to Communities Everywhere

At the Cade, we believe inventivity shouldn’t be limited by geography. That’s why we created the Spark Hub—a mobile, immersive experience designed to bring the spirit of the Cade Museum directly into communities beyond Gainesville.

The Spark Hub is more than a pop-up exhibit. It’s a collaborative learning space that can be installed in community centers, libraries, churches, and event venues—anywhere curiosity lives. Inside, visitors explore stories of invention, discover our Inventivity® Education approach, and learn what it truly means to develop an Inventive Mindset. Through engaging exhibits and hands-on activities, the Spark Hub invites learners of all ages to think creatively, solve problems, and imagine what’s possible.

The exterior of the Spark Hub celebrates the essential role of art in innovation, featuring the Fibonacci sequence and its beautiful patterns found throughout nature. This design highlights how creativity and science are deeply connected—and how inspiration can be found all around us.

At its heart, the Spark Hub is a place for connection. Cade Educators lead invention-themed activities that spark curiosity and empower kids to explore, experiment, and create. Whether it’s building, designing, or brainstorming new ideas, every experience is rooted in our belief that everyone has the potential to be an inventor.

Our current Spark Hub prototype is a 250-square-foot model, offering a full mini-museum experience on the go. We’re also developing a Spark Hub Mini Pop-Up, a fully mobile concept that allows us to reach even more communities with ease.

The Spark Hub is a key part of the Inventivity Movement, our commitment to bringing Inventivity® programming to communities across the nation over the next five years. By meeting people where they are, we’re expanding access to hands-on learning and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
